As the digital content division of OML Entertainment, the Global Creator Network (GCN) develops branded content together with creators and influencers across various digital platforms. We strive to drive digital campaign resonance through-the-line, backing our solutions with strong data insights and measuring impact all through.


Over the last 2 and a half years, we have co-created more than 10,500 pieces of content and worked with over 380 creators, building equity for the brands and the creators we work with. We have delivered campaigns in over 17 countries across the regions of SEA, India, China, Africa, Middle East, Europe and Latin America.

Our teams are based out of Mumbai (India), Moscow (Russia) and Thailand (Bangkok) are structured to plan and deliver campaigns for specific areas or clusters across the globe.

We’re looking for someone to lead our Media and Analytics team that is in charge of the analytical strategy behind our content decisions and impact measurement. A high awareness of digital trends and the necessary skills to analyse, strategise & execute them while working with creators, influencers and KOL's across multiple geographies, will be needed.

The team works cross-functionally to translate the incredible amount of data on digital platforms, content consumption patterns, creator trends and digital landscapes to shape business and content decisions. The team also evaluates the general programming and content strategy, in addition to leading competitive analysis. The team partners closely with the leadership at OML on the strategic insights provided to inform critical business decisions.


About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller/ Production Budget Controller to oversee the financial operations of our agency and production businesses. This role is pivotal in ensuring cost efficiency, financial integrity, and profitability across these departments.
 

Responsibilities and Duties will include:

          Operational Financial Management:
  • Collaborate closely with team members to monitor daily financial activities

  • Implement strategies to minimize project costs and enhance profitability  

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for each team


          Cost Control and Vendor Management:
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the appropriateness of commissioned vendors for projects

  • Evaluate vendor contracts and expenses to ensure alignment with project objectives and budget constraints.

  • Develop and enforce policies for vendor selection and cost approvals.Expense Authorization and Oversight:                                                                                 

           Expense Authorization and Oversight:
  • Scrutinize all cost items, providing justification and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and approvals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial and budget management, with a focus on cost control and auditing.
  • Proven track record of reducing costs and improving financial efficiency in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with [specific software] is a plus.
