Hypothesis: Over two decades of working with agencies, brands and influencers has helped us identify gaps and challenges in influencer marketing, resulting in Hypothesis, a comprehensive AI-enabled influencer marketing platform that services the entire influencer marketing journey and has executed more than 150 campaigns.

Key responsibilities (Writer/Directors) :


  • Managing Day to Day Activities in your Artist’s life

  • Reaching out to relevant networks to maximize business opportunities. 

  • Closing business and making sure I see it to the end of its execution 

  • Legal - Making sure the artist is protected legally for all deals closed, making sure all their work is protected as well while doing the same.

  • Execution of projects : Direction - To help put together a team for projects that need one and Writers : To build writers rooms to execute a project , to make sure the client and writers are in sync on the project

  • Meeting deliverables- Clients often have a tight deadline, I see to it that these deadlines are met with ease and a balance remains on artist end as well . 

  • Development and Feedback - Giving feedback to writers on stuff they ask feedback on, making focus groups for a better feedback system and making sure the writer has access to these groups for them to improve the works 

  • Targets - Making sure the vision and professional targets of the writers and directors are met 

  • Managing and developing the careers of a growing community of writers and directors. Scouting and signing new literary talent to join the OML ecosystem.

  • Building a pipeline of scripted content in association with internal and external talent.

  • Developing a dynamic slate of series, films, documentaries synonymous with the needs of the market alongside the Artists under management 

  • Deep relationships with Indian talent -writers, directors, showrunners and the creative community to develop, acquire and package new series and film ideas.

  • Day to Day responsibilities of managing directors’ & writers’ projects, tracking payments, invoices and legal milestones across 20 Artists.

  • Proficient in preparing pitches,decks, and deep understanding of budgeting and production of fiction shows. 

  • Developing integrated content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term sales targets

  • Developing a strong network/communication channel with the writer and director community


Key responsibilities (Artist Management) :

  • Leading projects that are open-ended and making sure OML talent is pitched to its best. 

  • Comedy Management- Making sure the writers ecosystem and the comedy ecosystem are in sync and each can help the other professionally to grow and complete projects. 

  • Development  of new joinees in Arist Management 



Skills Needed:


  • A deep understanding of the digital content and screenwriter landscape in India.

  • Can work independently as well as lead a team of managers to maximize service for Artists.

  • Will be able to work across teams to achieve goals.

  • The candidate shall have strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills

  • Interpersonal relationship building with client / writers/ directors 

  • Nimble and quick to react and respond 

  • Being available is one of the most important parts of being an artist manager


 

Qualifications and Prior Experience:


  • Experience – 3-5  years related experience as a manager, writer, director, showrunner, producer.

  • Should have worked with agencies , OTT clients

  • Should know client servicing + have worked creatively on fiction content / branded content 

  • Candidates should have previously worked with a  production house. 

  • Prior TV, Movie, or OTT is preferred.
